Maybe it's just me, but I'm a sucker for themed photoshoots, especially when you can make them happen at home. I'm also very lucky to have a cooperative daughter who loves to smile at the camera. You almost can't tell that these pictures were taken after a night of refusing to sleep on her own, waking up 2-3 times and starting the day around 5:00 AM.
Do you do themed shoots with your kids?

I've used a similar set up to this a few times now for photos that has worked surprisingly well. If you know our house you know it's not the largest and doesn't have the most ideal setup for lighting. What I've done for these shoots is situated in front of our one big window in the living room, and I've hung a $3 plastic table cloth from the beam that separates our room. Toss some blankets on the floor add your props and voila. Photoshop also works wonders for taking out all the crinkles and creases that are inevitable in a plastic tablecloth.
